2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the honey glaze.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
Pat the salmon fillets dry. Season the salmon with salt and black pepper.
Brush the honey glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring they are fully coated. Reserve a small amount of the glaze for basting while cooking.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes. Baste the salmon with the reserved glaze halfway through cooking.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
If there are any leftover glaze, brush it onto the cooked fillets. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions for colour.
